After about a month, his fix failed and I had to go back in for a tune-up. You can read about that by clicking here: Return of the E74. Don’t worry; if you follow these instructions you aren’t doing anything wrong and you won’t actually break anything… but you may have to do a little more tinkering in the future to get the repair to stick!

Dec 07, 2011 · papers doesn't matter. you can call support and see if you are still under the 3 year warranty (doubtful) if you create a repair order online at xbox.com you can reduce the cost to 99dollars (you can also check to see if its a free repair that way too) if still under warranty it would say 0dollars

Aug 04, 2013 · It showed 1 RROD, the E74 - again. Now I can't remember how I fixed it last time. It has something to do with how you turn it on/off and how you plug in the AV cables. What's an easy temporary fix? And no, I am NOT sending it off, it has NO warranty.
