If you need support for Windows 8 and/or for IE 10 on Windows 7 you must go with UFT 11.52. HP is reluctant to provide a Windows 8 update for QTP 11.0. QTP 11.0 does support Windows 7 with IE9 and lesser IE versions, for 32 and 64 bit, with appropriate QTP patches.

Jul 27, 2014 · Hi, I am facing a issue where I need to use IE 11. Once I installed IE 11, QTP 11 is not able to recognize the objects in the application. I am not sure if HP came up with any patches to resolve the issue. if any one faced this kind of issue please let me know.

I too am facing the same issue where QTP 11.0 is not recognizing flex application on IE9. I have flex plugin 4.5 and installed the necessary patches for QTP 11.0. 0 Kudos Swetha_ds.
