I'm developing a .NET 3.5 XBAP application that runs perfectly fine in FF3 and IE6/7 etc. I'm just wondering if its possible to get these to run under other browsers, specifically (as its in the limelight at the moment) Google Chrome.

Sep 26, 2009 · Yes, there's no support. I'm not sure if it's planned. It's possible to run your app in Chrome with a hack. Pointing your path environment variable at the location of xpcomm.dll from a working Firefox installation does it.

when i tried running it to other browsers like chrome and firefox, the browser downloads the xbap file and when i click it, the IE browser opens then displays my xbap. For microsoft edge, it shows a Open button at the bottom of the page and when you clicked it, the IE will open and displays xbap.
