The default value is wmode=window. wmode=window. When wmode=window, the Flash movie is not rendered in the page. It is instead displayed in a separate window than the browser content (as inspected with Spy++ or WinSpy++). This mode will have the best performance as the browser does not have to redraw a portion of the page on each frame.

If I reset Nightly it will take some time but it will load the page and operate properly one time only. Then once shutdown and restarted Nightly will again give the error: Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support.

Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support. The number of errors quadrupled yesterday without us doing anything, and the session count being about the same as before. The only affected platform seems to be Chrome OS and Flash Player 25.0.0.127 (the latest).
