Nov 14, 2010 · 1. If possible put the pagefile (virtual disk) on a really fast SATA drive. The SSD can experience wear with a lot of writes which can happen with the pagefile on the SSD. Though the reads are about 40 - 1 eventually enough writes can cause wear. 2. Use as fast a ReadyBoost drive as possible - Vista's limit is 4 Gig and Windows 7's is 256 Gig.
