Aug 05, 2011 · Microsoft update redirects to support pages that says to update to XP service pack 3, but I have it installed already. I've recently installed XP Pro x32 from a Pro SP2 cd on a spare computer I built from old parts.

Restart the device again, and then turn Automatic Updates back on. Press the Windows key + X and choose Control Panel. Select Windows Update. Choose Change Settings. Change the settings for updates to Automatic. Choose OK. Restart the device.
