Knowing that the hardware and physical slot support has to be there, the windows ce 5.0 core has the capability to support SDHC cards. This hardware supports on a device by device basis, but newer GPS units with the WinCE 5.0 core may be able to support up to 32Gb SDHC cards.

Jul 22, 2008 · To support the 2.0 specification in CE versions prior to CE 6.0 you have to set the IMGSDBUS2 environment variable to 1. Conclusion. Windows CE fully supports the SD 2.0 specification, but as we saw this doesn’t automatically mean it also fully supports High Capacity MMC cards.

Nov 21, 2010 · Hi all, I m working on SD Card Driver in Windows CE 6.0 . Installed Windows CE 6.0 R2.The Normal SDHC Card is detected and working properly if its a 2GB SD Card and its not detected if the capacity is more than 2GB ie., for example 4GB.

Jun 28, 2007 · It is being said that Windows Mobile as of date doesn't support SDHC. Initially neither XP, Vista or Palm supported it but now there is proper fix for XP and Vista, alongside there is a trick by which Treo recognizes SDHC. So i am having it hard to believe that Windows Mobile doesn't have a fix or a trick. Exeperience with my dell Laptop:
