Jan 07, 2010 · Windows 7 does not support SATA CDrom dirive. I installed Windows 7 Home Premium from my LG GSA-H62L Super Multi DVD Rewriter which has a SATA interface. Device manager sees the drive as HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H62L ATA Device. When I insert a disc, the drive spins up, the light flashes a few times, then goes out.
