Jun 18, 2014 · is there a limit to what browser versions support wildcard ssl certificates? I can't find a valid resource that tells me if there only has been support for it since version x. I can only find a list of browsers/servers that support Server Name Indication here.

I'd like to know if any certificates support a double wildcard like *.*.example.com? I've just been on the phone with my current SSL provider (register.com) and the girl there said they don't offer anything like that and that she didn't think it was possible anyway.
