Oct 04, 2012 · nunu is a really good support and often gets banned in competitive play. works best with vayne, kogmaw, caitlyn, imho. I kinda feel that Nunu gets picked/banned more often now from a jungler point of view instead of a support champ.

BTW this is probably the only support I saw working with AD Kayle as she needs desperately that attack speed in lane phase. And about OP - Yes, Nunu is viable, I played it and it's really fun support to play.

Thresh is a good support, Blitzcrank can be nice too if you're good with hooks, not sure what they are classified at, tank, fighter or something else.
