This is a warning to anyone buying this product or any Western Digital product. We have had two WD Sentinel DX4000 devices and the on-board ethernet ports failed on both of them which rendered the device useless. There is no way to access the device without an ethernet port. Aug 24, 2016 · Power outage yesterday caused the DX4000 to shut down unexpectedly. Now its been stuck on Loading OS overnight. Tried resetting this morning but it is still stuck on Loading OS a few hours later. Starting to get worried now, any ideas on trying to find out if it is still alive?
