There’s no default administrator password; it is set by the administrator during the initial setup. Try running a full recovery once again if it has a password.

This is a warning to anyone buying this product or any Western Digital product. We have had two WD Sentinel DX4000 devices and the on-board ethernet ports failed on both of them which rendered the device useless. There is no way to access the device without an ethernet port. The first device failed two months after the warranty expired.2.8/5(29)
