Mar 14, 2016 · In Washington State, child support is paid until the child either turns 18 or graduates High School (whichever occurs later). The support obligation can be extended to cover post-secondary education, but this is not automatic or guaranteed. It is possible the topic of postsecondary support was addressed when the Child Support Order was created.
