Apr 01, 2012 · The C2SBC-Q uses the Q35 chipset which supports VT-d, the C2SBA uses the G33 chipset which doesn't support VT-d. As far as I remember Q35 and Q45 were the key to VT-d support.

Oct 23, 2010 · I hope they do add it soon. VT-d support in a Mac virtualization product will mean my employer will be open to buying a Mac Pro for myself and a few other developers. Parallels showed it working at WWDC 09, but their 5th version of their product also lacks support.

Which program is that? VT-x or VT-d can be enabled or disabled through your BIOS only and its a Processor level feature. Check you processor manual to find if it supports VT-x or VT-d. If you laptop supports it, you will have the option to enable or disable it from BIOS.

Jan 13, 2013 · Yes, vt-d was one of the primary reasons for choosing the processor in addition to hyper-threading. I will be using this motherboard for an ESXi whitebox build and vt-d will be used to pass various devices to a number of virtual machines.
