I'm trying to get an application running under a Windows XP guest on Workstation 6.5.1, but the app appears to require not only DirectX 9 but when I start it, I get the following dialog box: Attached is the vmware.log file which I think shows that DirectX 9 is correctly configured for the guest and host.

Still, even with Workstation 7, my earlier complaints can’t just disappear. Fusion 3 costs Mac users $80, while Workstation 7, upon release, is likely to retail for the same as the current release, at $200.
