Jan 11, 2013 · Hi everyone I have a vCenter 5 (5.0.0, 623373) managing three clusters (ESXi, 5.0.0, 768111), the virtual machine verion of my envyroment is version 8 and at the version of my vCenter and my ESXi hosts I´m able to create vm´s with Windows Server 2012 by setting the operational system version to "Microsoft Windows Server 8".

Sep 17, 2012 · The Guest OS Customization feature in vCenter does not support Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 in vSphere 5.1. vSphere client will use EFI BIOS for VMs configured for Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 with hardware version 9, however, EFI BIOS is not compatible with the Fault Tolerance feature.

Dec 17, 2013 · As I understand it, Windows Server 2012 R2 is fully supported as a VM on ESXi 5.5 hosts but when I go to create a new VM the latest OS I see in the list is 2012.

Oct 14, 2015 · Hello, according to the CP Installation Guide for Version 3.0 there is no official support for Ubuntu 10.04 or newer and Windows Server 2012 and newer.
