Jul 16, 2011 · most backup/restore software now support VMware vStorage APIs for Data Protection, when i eval them, i find them all use LAN backup, for example, EMC avamar, Vizioncore vRange Pro, VMware data recovery. when i use old VCB interface, although it need staging area and a physical proxy host, but it's LAN-less backup.
