Jun 11, 2013 · VM won't start. It's a 64-bit Windows 7 VM. First message is : "Binary translation is incompatible with long mode on this platform. Disabling long mode. NN_Jon Jan 16, 2019 8:14 AM ( in response to hernancito1 ) I was able to get around this issue by deleting all VMs and removing the host-server from Hyper-V then disabling Hyper-V under Windows Features.
