Apr 12, 2013 · Using Internet Explorer 8 within Windows XP SP3. I have a user that on his computer, under his Windows profile, after exiting all Internet explorer browsers, the contents of his C:\Documents and Settings\”substitute name of his profile”\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys folder gets deleted.

I was clearing my Flash cache, which is what prompted other people to end up wtih a settings.sxx file in there, but it doesn't sound like theirs was so massive or from a specific site, and in any case it was there before I changed my settings.

Mar 25, 2015 · We use mms.cfg to disable autoupdate in Flash Player System preferences. Do we still need to use settings.sol file to suppress the Notify option in "Global Notifications Settings panel" or leave it since the "Global Notifications Settings panel" is not available?
