Nov 02, 2014 · Have just installed the Technical Preview in a Windows 8 x64 machine on Fusion 7. The VMware Tools wouldn't install from the menu-bar link, so I had to go into the VMware app package, get the Windows.iso and mount it as a CD/DVD drive. Once VMware Tools was installed I was able to resize the desktop to fit my native resolution.
