Sep 29, 2009 · I have noticed that there is NO firewire/800 support in vmware server (1.0.3) (not the fusion product!!!) for linux (as host OS). this needs to be added as windows has full support for both USB 2.x and firewire/800 devices (some drivers with additional software support from associated vendors). also, USb 2.x support is lacking (see thread here:

Sadly there is no thunderbolt pass-through support in VMware Fusion. Not sure if it is on a list somewhere to implement or if it is even possible.
