Snapshot without Virtual Machine’s Memory option: Snapshot taken without memory option will not capture the live state of the virtual machine. Snapshot creates crash consistent disks, which you can be used to restore the virtual machine to the state prior to the snapshot but it won’t revert the VM into same power state as it during snapshot creation.
