How Can I get windows aero to work in my windows 7 virtual machine, how can I fix this? It's not certain that you can. Direct3D.9 support is still experimental, plus it requires good host OpenGL drivers (basically: NVidia or AMD - not Intel Graphics).

Oct 29, 2014 · The current video card cannot display Aero effects. When I try to run the Aero troubleshooter and clicking on an aero theme does not give me the aero glass either. Problem solved by installing VMWare Workstation and uninstalling virtualbox. and switching to VMWare 3D options enabled instead of disabled.
