2013-12-18 · Aero isn't working and when Troubleshooting didn't work it told me "Video card driver doesn't support Aero effects". I tried using the Aero Activator and that didn't work either. The only thing that you need to do is to install the Guest Additions. Then run "dxdiag", "Display" tab, look at the "Drivers". If it says "VBoxDispD3D.dll", it's installed. 2014-10-29 · The current video card cannot display Aero effects. When I try to run the Aero troubleshooter and clicking on an aero theme does not give me the aero glass either.
