Mar 20, 2018 · The VIA HD Audio drivers is not compatible with Windows 10. We suggest you to uninstall the anything related to Audio and let Windows automatically detect the driver that should be installed. See screenshot below: After uninstalling from the Device Manager, reboot your PC and let Windows install the drivers automatically.

May 22, 2018 · Open VIA HD Audio, click uninstall; Click action, scan for new hardware changes; Wait for VIA HD audio to show up again; Open VIA HD Audio, go to second tab; Rollback drivers; Open wushowhide; Blacklist VIA HD Audio update; If not work, try to install the driver in Windows 10 compatibility mode:

Dec 03, 2012 · The VIA HD Audio Deck is the configuration utility. It lets you set number of speakers, change jack functions, setup an equalizer,etc. Windows 8 didn't have driver for my onboard VIA sound. ASUS only had Windows 7 drivers, they worked in compatibility mode though. VIA had actual Windows 8 drivers so that's what I used.

Now the problem is that the VIA Driver Download Portal no longer has “Audio” drivers included in the choices when you select “Microsoft Windows” in Step 1 and “Windows 10” in Step 2. It only shows “Integrated Graphics” in Step 3.

Jun 23, 2009 · But!!! This is what I found on my system in device manager. High Def Audio device was already installed with ATI HDMI Driver, and one High Def Audio was left and would give 6 channel direct sound if I installed VIA driver the devices would change to ATI HDMI Audio and VIA High Def Audio. But 6 channel direct would not work also HD Deck never loads.

Oct 08, 2012 · Today, I've install win 8 (Pro) on my PC and seem like something went wrong with my Audio driver. When i run Via HD Audio Deck to active sound to speaker jack ( If i dont, i just hear the sound from headphone jack) but it say " Via HD Deck do not support this OS version.
