Nov 18, 2008 · Based on my research, MSDSS is not supported directly by Windows 2008. But we can use MSDSS on Windows 2003 system as intermediate point and use ADMT to transfer information to Windows 2008 system. If your AD has Windows 2003 DC, we just need run MSDSS on Windows 2003 DC, it will replicate all information to other DCs.

Feb 16, 2010 · We're starting to plan a migration from Novell NetWare 6.5 to Windows Server 2008. While we currently use the NDS in NetWare, we have no need to migrate it over to AD, as we have a separate server using AD; we've had a 2 system authentication for many years.

Once you have users and groups on Windoze, you >should< be able to migrate the data using MSDSS File Migration Utility. If it doesn't work, that just goes to show you.
