What's new and what I'll go into detail here is the Tomcat plug-in. Currently OpenEJB 3.0 supports only Tomcat 6.x but support for Tomcat 5.5 is being added.

Nov 12, 2002 · Tomcat is a servlet/JSP container and does not support EJBs. This is as of Tomcat 4.x. I have not been to the Tomcat site for a long time now but I am pretty sure they would not provide such support.
