Dec 23, 2014 · so, i see that the thief 2 has a joystick option so i plug in my xbox 360 controller to try it and only make's garret to move to the sides the camera doen'snt move and i can't select weapons either just walk and i cant enter the shift+tab menu and i dont know how to open the console so please someone help me with this problem.

Oct 08, 2013 · I have a Thrustmaster controller. Is there a way to set it up for Thief? I can bind all functions to the buttons as I wish, but the sticks do not work. I tried Tomb Raider 2 with a controller. It is abysmal. Admittedly the old TR's were never designed around the stick, but the D-pad, but with the keyboard I'm like 50% more effective.

Hey I'm interested in this game, and I was just curious if it has controller support or not "out of box", like plug, & playish (Prefferably X360 support). I'm NOT interested in any mods, or user created patches either. Any help with if it supports controlers without using any 3rd party apps would be greatly apreciated, thanks in advance if anybody replys.

Jun 27, 2017 · While Thief 1/2 do technically support controllers, I'm not sure if you can map the right stick, so looking around (other than optionally using the left stick to turn instead of strafe) appears to be impossible.
