Apr 26, 2015 · I just finished Witcher 2 a ccuple days ago and decided to delve back into the Witcher 1 forgetting it had no controller support. Since I have recently begun to prefer using a 360 Controller for PC games so I can sit back a little from the screen, this was a problem for me.

WRONG, 'cause the pc will only recognize the controller as an xbox controller, and re-charge it, but will not let you play pc games. The reason of this is that with this controller the signals of the buttons pressed are send wireless only, and the "Play & Charge" wire just charge the controller while you're playing (on the xbox360). 2-3.

The Witcher 2 was originally a PC port. It released for PC in 2011 and got a 360 port in 2012. Mind telling us what's the point of arguing when you're so lazy that you can't even look up something as simple as that ? And yes, it does have a full controller support. I played through the game twice while using a 360 Batarang controller.

May 16, 2011 · I am planning to purchase the Witcher 2 however, as I game on a HTPC I am able to play only with a controller more specifically the wireless Xbox 360 controller. I would like to know whether or not the Witcher 2 will have full support for this device and by full support I mean including menu navigation?

I somehow ended up with Witcher 2 but not 1 (whoops). Anyway - does it play well with an Xbox gamepad on Windows over Steam in-home streaming, or is it more "complex" than a 360 gamepad would allow for? I was 100% ok playing GTA V with the 360 pad once I noticed you could turn console-style autoaim on.
