Sep 26, 2009 · I can extract the file, but get this message when I try and open it. I get a pop-up box for 16 bit MS-DOS subsystem saying "This system does not support full-screen mode. Select close to terminate this application." You can also choose to "Ignore" but then it says the program has to close because of problems. I have an HP computer with Vista.

An alternative would be to use an xp driver for your graphics hardware. You might have to start the setup in xp-compatibility mode make vista allow it to run. This will allow fullscreen on the command line. BUT: although this could work fine if you are lucky, this can also lead to other problems and crashes.
