I followed this method carefully, but when I try to run asussetup.exe or setup.exe I'm getting ERROR "The model does not support this application" Any clue why? I mean, I know that it doesn't support it :D But that's why I'm doing copy/paste magic here ))) My MB is Maximus V Formula OS windows 8 pro x64

I have just factory reset my Asus Rog G20AJ, then I would download the Asus command center to change the color of the lights on my computer, but then there will be error: No Driver File and then: The Model Does not Support This Application But I've downloaded for the AJ version.

Jul 07, 2013 · 2) When I run the "setup" from the installer you provided (downloaded using the link above) I get a prompt of "The model does not support this application" and cannot proceed anymore. Strangely, the old installer which was downloaded in Jan 2013 from Asus Support website and have the same version in the filename can be installed fine.
