Jan 25, 2016 · I have a system with an Intel 82945G Express chipset. I've installed the latest and greatest display drivers that I can get for them. However, OpenGL still does not work. (I cannot use LWJGL for Java, and Minecraft doesn't open up). The installed drivers (not WDDM) supported OpenGL in Windows 8. I really appreciate the help. Thanks,

Sep 06, 2018 · While booted to Boot Camp Windows uses exclusive Windows drivers provided by Apple, that's why it works there. While booted to macOS and using Windows in virtual machine, macOS video driver is used that is very limited and does not support OpenGL compatibility profile, meaning we are currently unable to implement OpenGL 3.3 and higher support.

OpenGL 3.3 graphics compatibility from your video card is listed in the technical requisites under windows. If your graphics card does not support is by hardware, and/or your drivers don't provide OpenGL 3.3 you only can change your graphics card.

Nov 30, 2019 · AMD's OpenGL drivers aren't bad exactly it's just that Nvidia's spend more money on it and of course Nvidia fully support all their own OpenGL extentions which a lot of OpenGL games and apps use. AMD have equivalents for many but they're not always supported well by apps.Reviews: 12

Nov 21, 2012 · So, the only thing that I can suggest you do is identify the video hardware that's on your system and see if there are updated drivers for that video card that include Open GL support. If they don't, then I'm actually not aware of a way to make this work for you.
