Dec 28, 2006 · Can I change the th200 to a th200c by using parts from the failed trans? The reverse clutch came apart in the 200c, so it was a hard failure. Can I just take the valve body off of the the 200c, fully clean it, and put it into the th200? or is there more to it?

Jul 09, 2007 · 07-08-07 12:36 PM - Post# 1203375 In response to rb25 200 and 700 transmissions are controlled by a Throttle Valve(TV) cable and weights in a governor. They are very sensitive to TV adjustments, and improper adjustments can kill a trans in a matter of blocks.

This will hold the output shaft/rear internal gear in the correct place for re-assembly of the lo/reverse clutch, rear carrier, clutch housing, input drum, front carrier, front internal gear and rear selective thrust washer and snap ring. Oct 03, 2009 · Ok, I've got a 200 4R transmission that wont go into gear. It was working when we pulled it out of the last car that it was in. I did all of the obvious stuff, the linkage is hook up properly, I pulled off the torque convertor and made sure it had fluid in it, checked the fluid level on the dip stick, shifted it through all of the gears and checked it again.
