I'm really suffering from SPD and struggling to walk. I've been referred for physio and my midwife suggested buying a support band. A few friends I know we're actually given them. Do you have to buy them or can you have them given by the midwife?

Ask for a referral to a physical therapist experienced with SPD who can show you how to do these and what is safe in pregnancy. Wear a pelvic support belt (though data is limited on their usefulness, they may help some women).

I have no bump yet and didn't have this last pregnancy though had very bad upper back and rub pain. I have slight scoliosis back pain and see a Chiro when not pregnant anyway. Would anyone be able to recommend an SPD support band that they have used as I want to start managing this ASAP!
