Sep 11, 2009 · The SONY Vegas can't recognize .m4a file, regardless which version I use, even other SONY product like DVD architect or Cinescore, they can't recognize .m4a also(it shows Stream attributes can not be determined). I notice that SONY use qt7plug.dll for playing .m4a, I double something wrong happened in the installation of iTunes 9.

Dec 14, 2018 · Yesterday I downloaded some songs from iTunes that I would like to open in Sony Vegas, but Sony Vegas won't accept iTunes' m4a container.I know it will accept AAC audio, because I've opened video files before with AAC audio, so, I thought what I could do is open an h.264 video in MKVMerge, and then add the AAC audio file, and then mux them together into an MKV container.
