Mar 14, 2012 · windows 7 has these wonderful signed drivers that you can't really turn off permanently, at least to my knowledge, which makes installing freeware close to impossible. Ext2fsd can run the 256 inode ext3 that intrepid on up formats into by default and runs perfectly in xp, but it has an unsigned driver. thanks microsoft.

Aug 25, 2011 · It works with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. Ext2Fsd has limited EXT4 support and by default it will load the filesystems in read-only mode, but you can force this if you really have to write on EXT4 partitions from Windows (this is not recommended).
