Since we prefers native XMLHTTP object over ActiveXObject, the exception might be caused due to using ActiveXObject. Unlucky are users in companies where the IE was rolled out without the user permission to change this value. So my summary: ENABLE native XMLHTTP support. and you will not have this problem.
