Dec 04, 2017 · Oracle Solaris 10 Extended Support will continue to supply you with fixes, security patches, security alerts for Oracle Solaris 10 similar to Oracle Solaris 10 Premier Support for 3 years. It doesn't, however, include new hardware support. After 3 years, Extended Support ends, and your only option is Sustaining Support.

Mar 05, 2009 · I was wondering if these releases for Solaris 10 supports SATA drives? Because for instance, I had few issues were Windows XP was not supported on SATA drivers, so I had to download the right drivers for the SATA. Any issues on this as well for Solaris 10 on newer PCs with SATA drives? Thanks in advance.

Nov 09, 2007 · does solaris 10 support sata? I installed Solaris 10 to a 160GB harddrive. I'm planning to reinstall using a (2) Sata 80GB harddrive but I believe it is not supported at Solaris 10. Jul 02, 2010 · Solaris 10 U8 x86: support for SATA III? 807559 Jun 30, 2010 1:39 AM Hello, I'm trying to install Solaris 10 U8 x86 on a x86 box. The HD is on a SATA III port. Sun is unable to identify the HD. I previously had a Linux distro on this machine, and it identifies the HD w/ no problem. Can someone please tell me if Solaris 10 U8 x86 supports SATA III?
