From past many years i was using smtp.gmail.com for sending mails, now i wished to change it. So i was trying to send mail using new smtp credentials given by my new mail client. Now when i use there details to send a mail i get and exception saying . System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Server does not support secure connections.

Sorry i havent worked with any smoothwall products at all. But i can say this is you remove any settings or make any changes like you've been doing today, you need to test your ip address (external) and all of them to make sure they are not open relays!
