Mar 26, 2007 · Are you running the IIS built-in SMTP-server or Exchange (or other external smpt-server)? Reason for the question is that I'm not quite sure how IIS does with the SMTP-server that's builtin when you install a server certificate for the Web server.

System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Server does not support secure connections. I have contacted the support team for help to check my credentials but they have tested my credentials and replied everything is fine. Below is my code which i am using to set smtp details.

Sorry i havent worked with any smoothwall products at all. But i can say this is you remove any settings or make any changes like you've been doing today, you need to test your ip address (external) and all of them to make sure they are not open relays!
