The only problem is the reader shows up under my computer and shows, (Drive F in this case) to have 0 bytes. The same also happens with my new portable hardrive which has 8GB, In bothy cases Windows found drivers for each but they both will not work. Now other SDHC Cards will not work, even in the specifacly designed SDHC card readers.

Apr 14, 2012 · It has two operating systems : windows xp SP3 as well as windows 7. When I use 2 gb micro SD card (along with the SD card adaptor for fitting in SD-MMC slot), it is getting detected in both the operating systems. However when I use 16 gb SDHC card is not geting detected under Win XP SP3, but getting detected and working fine under Win 7.

Jul 23, 2008 · I recently purchased a Toshiba R500 notebook which has a SD card reader built-in. I was unable to get my SDHC cards to work in it until I ran the XP SP3 upgrade on my Notebook. Apparently it has all of the new drivers included in the fix. Now the card reader works with all my cards including my 8gb microSDHC with SD adapter.
