There should be a UCI_limit_strength checkbox option, an UCI_Limit box where you can change the vaue from 1500 to 2800 ELO, UCI_Chess960 checkbox, and maybe one or two others as well. I know this is broken because the same engine displays more options when run under Arena 3.5.1 (via Wine).

Feb 15, 2017 · Regarding UCI, there are three main engine protocols these days: UCI, Winboard, and the proprietary ChessBase protocol (ChessBase engines have a .eng file extension). UCI stands for "Universal Chess Interface". Most engines are UCI, but there are still some Winboard engines out there. Stockfish is a UCI engine.
