I have looked into this and so found found a total of zero Netgear routers that support Loopback - not at the consumer end of prices anyway - I haven't bothered to look at very high price equipment. I have frequently encountered a slightly patronising attitude that says 'we won't provide Loopback as an option because it's a security flaw'.

If your router doesn’t support it, there’s not much you can do. If your router does not allow NAT loopback your only option is to use your external address (mycam.mydomain.com) to access your IP camera when not at home, then use the local address (192.168.x.x) when you’re at home.

To be honest, up until now I have always assumed that failure to support NAT loopback was simply a failure in the hardware/firmware, not a 'security feature'?! It's omission is a far greater problem IMHO. (If you hadn't guessed, my router does not support NAT loopback.)
