Hi ! :) RHEL 8.0 seems to be based on fedora 28/29 ... I'm running fedora 29 on my main production machine and - although the system is installed on a SSD, the second built-in SATA disk is well supported.

If you want to use the SATA hard drive, you will need to upgrade to Fedora Core 2 or Fedora Core 3, which does have support for that SATA controller. If you use Fedora Core 3, you'll be absolutely current.

Hi, will the final version for Fedora Core 1 include support for intel ICH5 SATA Raid? Currently I'm useing Intel S875WP1-E server board and it comes with a linux hardware raid driver software. But the problem with the hardware raid driver software is that it does not work for RedHat 9.0 and Fedora test 2.

I recommend you purchase the current Red Hat from www.redhat.com (in which case your support plan will allow you to ask these questions directly and get an official answer) ... but it's RedHat 9. The RHEL naming came (I think) after RedHat 9 became obsolete. There is no RHEL 9.
