I'm about 3/4 of the way through my video and now Final Cut is SLOW, taking about 15 minutes just to open my project, and it keeps crashing.

Jul 25, 2015 · It appears to me that something has changed in Powerpoint 2013 with regards to video clips with an alpha channel. I converted a Quicktime clip to an uncompressed AVI file, inserted it into ppt and straight away it went away and optimised it for me and as a result, disregards the alpha channel - if I cancel the optimisation, then the clip doesn't get inserted.
