Jun 01, 2008 · Hi John , I have a Q35 and wish to upgrade the CPU, in Vista when i look at computer properties it shows mine as having the T5200 1.60ghz clock speed with 533mhz bus. Also the Intel sticker says it is an Intel Core 2 Duo. The spec in the link you gave doesn't show the Q35 as having this processor?

Sep 17, 2019 · The Q35 chipset is supposed to support the E8600 CPU as well (3.3 GHz, 6Mb L2 cache rather than the 4Mb cache on the E6850), but there may be a risk that the Dell BIOS won't support the E8600, if Dell never sold that configuration.
