Oct 16, 2008 · So the post above that says WPA2 - TKIP + AES is 1/2 right. Yes, you need -- "TKIP" enabled. But you also need WPA -- if your router has a way to block WPA (because it is less secure), then your PSP won't connect until you change the router setting. Basically, the PSP doesn't support WPA2.

Aug 17, 2013 · WPA2 is actually partially supported - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Go to "Network Settings", select Infrastructure Mode, then "Scan", select your SSID, then manually select the encryption type "WPA-PSK (AES)" and proceed to typing in your network key. If it works, lucky you. If it does not, you'll have to change your network settings and use WPA encryption for your network instead.

Apr 06, 2010 · The PSP does not support WPA2 (I couldn't get it connected using that at least), so you will need to change the router/AP settings to WPA/AES (or WPA2 Mixed). I also had my router running at just 802.11g (54 Mbps), but the PSP only supports 802.11b (11 Mbps), so I had to change it to 11b/g (both 11 and 54 Mbps).
