Nov 02, 2009 · ac3 was recently added to .mp4 specs (it was not allowed before), so xvid4psp might not have a new muxer yet or this functionality. I doubt PS3 will allow ac3 in mp4 playback, even with newest firmware In fact, very few players will allow ac3 playback in .mp4 container.

Nov 07, 2007 · The PSP can support 720x480 in MP4 so no compromise is necessary - that's what I use for PS3 anyway. The quality vs. size in MP4 is definitely superior to DivX, even when the DivX support comes out. Not heard of that encoder, but will check it out.
