Nov 22, 2019 · Funnily enough it is a zebra printer, drivers are type 3 user mode. I'm looking at the print server connecting via print management from my machine. Bidirectional printing is turned off on the server queue. If I add the printer to my machine it does not have bidirectional printing enabled.

Many fairly modern printers that I'm using have the bidirectional support checkbox greyed out when adding them to Server 2008 R2s print server. This includes a slew of printers from Dell and even a couple HP printers.
