At the end of MP school, they did two oral boards, one for K9 and the other Helo Marine Squadron One. The Marines you see standing outside the helicopter that the President uses are HMX Marines. Truman was the first president to have helicopters at his disposal. He had both Army and Marine Corps helicopers so, at that time there was an Army One when the president was aboard.
